Clear Creek Festival Songwriting Contest
To us, it's all about the song, and that's why we want to encourage all the songwriters out there to do their stuff! Please submit your best material for our second year of the contest. Prizes will include cash, products, and an evening performance slot at the festival! 6 finalists will be selected from the initial round of entries to perform on Saturday, October 20th.
Guidelines
1. Submit a recording with two of your best efforts, preferably two songs which show different aspects of your music. Include lyric sheets for both. Please put your complete contact information on each item you send. Only one two-song entry per person is allowed.
2. If selected as a finalist, you may perform your songs solo or with up to two other accompanists. Please be prepared to get on and off stage quickly to accomodate other performers.
3. You must perform the two songs for which you were selected if you are a finalist.
4. The contest will take place at the Clear Creek Music Festival on Saturday, October 20th. The winner will be given a 20-minute set Saturday evening. Please do not apply if you are not able to be in attendance.
